Danno from 'Hawaii Five-0,' actor James MacArthur, dies at 72

Danno from 'Hawaii Five-0,' actor James MacArthur, dies at age 72 of natural causes in Florida | San Francisco Examiner

Recommended on DVD: 'Youth In Revolt'

"Youth In Revolt" is one of the smartest and funniest coming-of-age comedies in years, but it tanked at the box office earlier this year, earning just $15 million. Michael Cera plays the familiar teenage geek bouncing between divorced parents and their oddball partners. His life takes on meaning when he falls for an attractive girl (Portia Doubleday) while hiding out with his mother and her shady boyfriend (Zach Galifinakis) at a campground. The film takes another bizarre twist when Cera develops and alter-ego to help him woo the girl, with explosive consequences. There are dozens of laugh-out-loud scenes in one of the best comedies of the year. Steve Buscemi and Fred Willard are hilarious in supporting roles.

James Cameron plans 2 'Avatar' sequels

When your last film earns $2.8 billion at the box office worldwide, it's a sure bet you'll be working on a sequel.

James Cameron has announced plans to make two sequels to his blockbuster hit "Avatar," which eclipsed Cameron's "Titanic" to become the biggest movie of all time.

The sequels, which will also be shot in 3-D, are scheduled for release in late 2014 and 2015.

From The Hollywood Reporter:
"We'll continue to follow the same people on the same planet," producer Jon Landau said Wednesday during Paul Kagan's 3D Media Markets conference in New York. But, he allowed, "We might go underwater."
