Plenty of life left in 'Underworld' series
There’s still life left in the “Underworld” vampire/werewolf saga.
“Underworld Awaking,” the fourth installment in the series clawed its way to No. at the box office over the weekend with an estimated $25.4 million. Finishing second was “Red Tails” at $19.1 million. Last week’s No. 1 film, “Contraband,” dropped to No. 3 with an estimated gross of $12.2 million.

'Contraband' Beats 'Beast' at Box Office
Mark Wahlberg's cliche-filled, action-thriller"Contraband" topped the weekend box office with an estimated $24 million, beating out Disney's 3-D re-release of "Beauty and the Beast," which took in about $18.5 million.
"Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol" dropped to No. 3 with $11.5 million, bringing its domestic total so far to $186 million.

'Devil' knocks 'Mission Impossible' from top box-office perch
"The Devil Inside" scared up enough business at the weekend box office to knock "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol" from the No. 1 spot it held over the past two weekends.
"The Devil Inside" took in $34.5 million, compared to $20.5 for the latest "Mission Impossible" installment, which has earned $170.2 million so far in the domestic box office.
